DAT scan day

Heading off to Newcastle for a DAT scan, so we will be there all day for some reason.

I do not know what these scans prove as I have heard so many different stories, about them.

Some people say that people can have normal DAT scans hey be in the mid to later stages of the illness, so I am confused. Think it's something I shall ask today to see if anyone can give me an idea.
